My name is Lee Bloch. My family on my father’s side is made up of Eastern European Jews. Some made it big with a designer baby clothes company, but then they squandered it all in Park Avenue. My mom’s side is made up of Irish, Scottish, and English people who somewhere along the line became Baptists and Methodists. They also became reletively wealthy every once in a while, but through shadier means. Although my grandfather was a small-time farmer, I’m told that certain family members tended towards either counterfeiting or horse thievery. My mother’s mother’s mother’s mother was Cherokee, but I wasn’t raised in the culture. And I think that’s all very interesting because I studied anthropology in college. But in terms of my everyday life and politics, I tend to identify/am read as as a white, jewish, heterosexualish, cisgendery man. And this is my blog.
